Gorgeous sunset views from this large and buildable Rimrock Meadows lot!
Diamond Back Dr. Lot 3 is a 2.58-acre lot in Rimrock Meadows which is part of Douglas County in beautiful Washington State. The property is mostly flat with open views from every direction and vegetation consisting mainly of sage and gorgeous wildflowers. The property is perfect for camping/RV use and is easily buildable. Rimrock Meadows is known for their amenities and relaxed restrictions for recreational use. The association has a clubhouse, Olympic-size pool, laundry, shower facility, kids’ playground, general store, full and partial RV hookups at the clubhouse, and year-round storage available for RVs. Many in the area are building tiny homes to use as vacation destinations and to enjoy the plethora of activities the area offers.
If fishing is your passion, you are in the right place. Douglas County has many lakes and rivers some of which are within 50 miles of the property. Just over 20 miles away is Lake Lenore which is located just north of Soap Lake along State Route 17. Lenore is most famous for its very alkaline waters that only Lahontan Cutthroat Trout can survive in. This lake is an angler’s best chance to catch a trout pushing or slightly exceeding 30 inches. Several trout in the low to mid 20 inches also exist. Also in close proximity are Lake Chelan, Banks Lake, and the Columbia River.
The area also offers incredible hiking - Hungate Canyon Trailhead is just 19 miles away in a large portion of BLM (Bureau of Land Management) land. The trail winds through beautiful and rugged lands that lie along the high cliffs and plateau flatland along and above Moses Coulee. Douglas Creek and Duffy Creek Recreation Site consists of 14,766 acres of public land also managed by the BLM. There are three separate trailhead access points. The main trail stays close to Douglas Creek, where trailside highlights include excellent views of nearby cliff faces and basalt columns, small waterfalls cascading down the canyon walls, and fantastic spring wildflowers. Attentive hikers can spot trout playing in the shallows of the early crossings of Douglas Creek, and further up the canyon, there are several active beaver dams.
Within the listing above you will find Rimrock Meadows covenants, camping/RV use details, distance to additional attractions, towns and highways, and more details on utilities if building.
Make a site visit anytime! Although this property does not have any permanent structures on the adjacent lots, please always be respectful of others in the area.
As always feel free to reach out with any questions! We are happy to help!
