    A few years back there was a fire in the area and in order to save homes to the west of the property the fire department used this portion of GPath as a firebreak.  Thankfully, the firebreak worked but unfortunately it makes access to the property from GPath difficult without an ATV.  If you choose to make a site visit using G-Path we suggest parking off Copper Gulch Road 27A and walking to the property using the legal easements, please reference the photos above to get an understanding of access from GPath.   Good news is there is an alternate route off Copper Gulch Road 27A to the south using HPath (see map within photos above) that will allow access to GPath-TR-121/123 using a 4x4 vehicle.

     

    With GPath-TR-121/123 being right off Copper Gulch Road 27A access to nearby towns and attractions is not far.  Cotopaxi, Texas Creek and Westcliff are all within 20 miles from the property.  Cotopaxi has a general store, small hotels and local eateries in addition to world class rafting tours of the Arkansas River and hosted elk and deer hunting tours within 4,000-acres of private ranches.  Westcliff offers a local country market, bar and grill, gas station and a post office to meet your everyday needs and is also home to Westcliff Colorado Elk Hunting offering elk and deer hunting tours in over 26,000 private acres of prime elk/deer habitat boasting a success rate over 90%.  If you need more than Cotopaxi and Westcliff offer head 27 miles to Canon City which is a larger and more populated town offering a Wal-Mart, plethora of restaurants and gas stations and has a downtown historic district to explore.  Just outside of Canon City is The Royal Gorge Bridge and Park an extremely popular attraction in the area.
